Ms. Finn offers lessons and classroom instruction for students of any age in the Greater Boston area. She specializes in private voice, choral instruction, and general music instruction, and she will tailor instruction based on your individual goals and needs.

Ms. Finn is currently in her fourth year of her dual bachelor’s degree in Music Education and Vocal Performance at Boston University. In addition to her formal education, Ms. Finn has taught in both classroom and private settings as a voice instructor and music specialist. In order to better inform her teaching, Ms. Finn is a researcher in trust and care in Music Education. She most recently researched scaffolding agency in music making spaces to support vulnerable musical experiences as a part of an Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) project funded by the BU Arts Initiative. She most recently celebrated the release of her co-authored chapter in the Oxford Handbook of Care in Music Education entitled “Facilitating Trust and Connection Through Musical Presencing: Case Study of a Conflict Transformation Facilitator in fall 2023.

Ms. Finn feels passionate about watching her students find their passions and cultivate life-long skills inside and outside of music. She firmly believes everyone can sing and make music, and her goal is to differentiate her instruction to help her students grow in confidence in themselves and their music making.
